Karmøygeddon makes a small Norwegian harbour town the centre of a metal trip. The useful choice is between staying close to the concerts in Kopervik and using the wider hotel selection in Haugesund. That choice determines your late-night transport budget much more than the flight price alone. Start with the return from the festival, then choose the room and airport connection around it.
Dates, admission and the right address
The organiser confirms 29 April–1 May 2027. Its linked Tikkio listing identifies Ovenpaa, Havnegata 4, 4250 Kopervik, and an 18-year age limit. The ticket platform's end time runs into the early hours of 2 May; this does not turn Sunday into a fourth advertised festival day. Plan your final hotel night around the late finish rather than a midnight calendar boundary.

Divide a prebooked return taxi among your group when comparing total costs. A lower nightly rate can disappear quickly if everyone needs separate transport.
Do not book an old festival bus
At this check, the travel page still points to a night-bus product labelled 2025. That is historical information, not a 2027 reservation. Wait for a clearly dated 2027 announcement or arrange another return before committing to a Haugesund hotel. Ordinary regional bus information is useful for daytime planning but does not establish a service after the last band.
Travellers using a caravan should ask about the small festival camp behind the cinema, including the booking process, facilities and vehicle access. The travel page describes it as close to the event, but a concert ticket should not be assumed to reserve a pitch.
