Inferno is an urban extreme-metal trip built around Oslo’s concert venues over Easter. You can leave the camping equipment at home and concentrate on choosing a base that works for late nights, daytime events and the airport journey. A central room can save repeated transfers, but the hotel, concert pass and any extra activities still need to be checked as separate bookings.

The organiser confirms 25–28 March 2027. Its venue directory identifies Rockefeller and John Dee as the principal concert spaces, with additional club venues around central Oslo. Use the 2027 running order for the exact allocation of performances; a venue appearing in a general directory does not establish the timing of every event.

Airport arrival and an Easter timetable

Because the festival falls over Easter, check the timetable for the actual travel date, including your departure on Easter Monday if that is your plan. Where to stay for a venue-based festival
The organiser identifies Clarion Hotel The Hub as its official hotel and advertises a 2027 festival booking offer. Compare that offer with other central accommodation, checking the room type, breakfast, cancellation terms and any event access explicitly included. Staying at the official hotel does not by itself prove that every conference or concert is covered.
For alternatives, map the walk to Rockefeller and your likely late-night venues. A slightly more expensive room within an easy route may beat a distant bargain once transport is added. Ask about luggage storage for your arrival and departure days, and confirm reception arrangements if a delayed flight could bring you in after midnight.
Passes, club capacity and age checks
The current festival FAQ sets an 18-plus admission rule, while the venue directory lists higher age limits for some club spaces. Recheck the conditions of each event before travelling with an 18- or 19-year-old. The FAQ is dated March 2026, so treat operational instructions as a starting point and look for the 2027 update.
The existing FAQ describes daytime club entry for four-day wristband holders subject to limited capacity. Do not read a pass as a reserved place in every small room. Once the new programme is released, prioritise the shows that matter most and leave enough walking time between venues.
An itinerary with time between shows
Consider arriving on Wednesday 24 March and leaving after the four concert days, subject to your transport options. Use a separate morning or extra day for a city walk rather than scheduling a long excursion just before doors. Indoor concerts do not remove the need for a warm, weatherproof layer when moving between buildings.
Keep a simple budget for admission, accommodation, meals, airport transfers and optional activities. Save ticket and wristband instructions offline and agree a meeting place with friends outside each venue. The final running order, club restrictions and ticket-exchange location should be checked again shortly before departure.
