Seoul Jazz Festival is easier to plan when the park entrance, concert ticket and accommodation are considered together. Olympic Park has several approaches, and reaching a nearby station is only the first part of getting to the right performance area.
The last confirmed edition
The organiser’s May 12 timetable notice confirms May 22–24, 2026 at Olympic Park and names Melon Ticket as the booking channel. That event has finished. The next edition’s dates, participating artists, venue allocation and ticket-sale arrangements are unverified here. The old notice’s sold-out labels describe May 2026 availability only; they say nothing about a new edition.
Choose the station after the entrance
The park operator’s official map identifies Olympic Park station on lines 5 and 9 and Mongchontoseong station on line 8. Use the next festival’s entrance map to decide which approach suits your ticket and any wristband collection. For accommodation, compare a Songpa-area stay with a more central sightseeing base by the actual rail route and final walk. Do not assume every gate gives access to every festival area, or that the shortest map distance offers a step-free route.

The 2026 festival sold both one-day and three-day admission. Its SJF Village notice also described separately booked programmes with participation charges or deposits. Those arrangements show why the word “festival” is not enough to establish what one purchase includes. Build the stay around two priorities

On a second festival day, a different selection of stages can be more rewarding than repeating a rushed circuit. Keep the departure transfer separate from the final performance you want to hear.
Costs and access to confirm
Compare the room total with the transport cost over all festival days. A cheaper hotel can lose its advantage if the last return service does not match the music schedule. Confirm current rail times, ticket collection, accessible entrances, permitted bags and re-entry with the new edition’s notices. Keep cash or card needs separate from the concert budget until payment instructions are published. No future gate time, chair policy, shuttle service or camping product is confirmed by this guide.
