Roadburn rewards a different kind of festival itinerary: a room in town, time to discover unfamiliar artists and a realistic plan for moving between performances. The confirmed 2027 dates make it possible to start organising a four-day Tilburg trip, while leaving space for the programme and late-night transport to develop.
Dates and the right ticket
The organiser confirms 15–18 April 2027, with 013 and nearby Tilburg venues forming the festival. Start at the current Roadburn ticket page linked from its homepage. Some FAQ ticket paragraphs still describe 2026; use the year shown on the actual ticket product before paying.
Decide whether you want the complete weekend before buying transport. A short visit may suit one particular performance, but a four-day trip gives you more room to explore the programme. Treat artist announcements and daily running orders separately: an announced act is not a confirmed arrival deadline.
Arriving in Tilburg
The principal rail destination is Tilburg station. Both 013 and the Spoorzone are within walking reach; 013 is at Veemarktstraat 44. The organiser recommends routing drivers to a nearby public car park rather than the venue address.
Compare Amsterdam Schiphol and Eindhoven airport itineraries using the complete connection to Tilburg, including baggage collection and the last useful train or bus. A low airfare with a late landing can require an extra airport hotel night. For rail travel from elsewhere in Europe, leave space between an international connection and the final local train.
Choose a hotel by the return journey
Search central Tilburg first and check the actual walk to the venues. A room between the station and the evening programme can make afternoon breaks practical. Ask about late check-in, luggage storage on departure day and whether your quoted rate includes breakfast.
Eindhoven can be an alternative base, but compare its total nightly cost with the time and transport needed after the last show. The general FAQ refers to night buses and accommodation arrangements; do not treat those older details as a booked 2027 service. Wait for the correct edition’s timetable and sales page.
Camping needs its own reservation
The FAQ identifies Stadscamping Tilburg at Spoorpark as the campsite partner. Confirm the 2027 booking window, opening dates and available accommodation directly before committing. A concert ticket and a camping reservation should be treated as separate purchases unless the offer explicitly bundles them.
For a flight-based trip, price checked baggage and the weight of your camping equipment alongside the pitch. A hotel may be easier for a solo traveller with cabin luggage; camping may work better for friends arriving together with shared equipment. Do not assume a rental tent, camper pitch or electrical connection comes with a basic reservation.
Plan your first festival day
Allow time to leave luggage, collect the required admission credential and learn the route between performance areas. Pick a few essential sets and keep room for discoveries. When two performances are close together, include the walk and any entry queue in your decision.
Keep overnight luggage at your accommodation. The organiser allows small bags but asks visitors with larger bags to use storage. For access needs, discuss the actual stages you plan to visit with 013 before booking; viewing arrangements differ between rooms. Carry hearing protection and a phone power bank permitted by the current entry rules.
A sensible four-day itinerary
Consider arriving on Wednesday 14 April and leaving Monday 19 April if you want the whole programme without rushing. These are suggested travel nights, not extra festival dates. Keep any Amsterdam or Eindhoven sightseeing for before or after the Tilburg stay rather than building it around a late concert finish.
Before the cancellation deadline on your accommodation, recheck the 2027 ticket, venue map, campsite or hotel terms and late transport. In the final week, replace your provisional daily plan with the organiser’s running order. Avoid basing your return flight on an old midnight train time.
