Obscene Extreme is a dedicated extreme-music trip to Trutnov, with camping and a festival site outside the town's transport stations. Its location can work for an overland visit or a flight into Prague, but the final journey needs planning. Choose whether you want to camp beside the event or make daily trips from a room in town.
Dates, tickets and the Na Bojišti site
The organiser advertises 7–11 July 2027. Treat this as the published festival window while waiting for the final daily programme and departure instructions; it should not be read as a promise of five full days of concerts. The official transport page identifies the Na Bojišti festival area on Královédvorská street, 541 01 Trutnov.
An official update reports that the first ticket wave has sold out and points visitors towards the next wave. That is not the same as the whole festival being sold out. Use the organiser's ticket store to check current inventory and admission conditions. Avoid paying for travel solely on the basis of a ticket screenshot or an old sale announcement.
Prague airport and onward travel
Prague (PRG) is a useful gateway for flight comparisons. The organiser recommends looking up trains or buses to Trutnov with the Czech IDOS journey planner. Plan airport to city transfer, the intercity leg and the final route to your accommodation as three parts, allowing time for luggage and any station change.
The festival transport page contains old Prague airport instructions, including outdated connection details. Use a current airport or public-transport planner for that first leg. Do not choose an arrival terminal from the festival's general description: follow the terminal shown by your airline. For a late flight, an overnight stop in Prague may be more practical than a fragile chain of onward connections.
Reaching the entrance from Trutnov
The official travel information describes the festival site as approximately two to three kilometres from the town's train and bus stations. Check the route with your luggage and fitness in mind. A walk that is straightforward with a small day bag can be less comfortable with a tent and sleeping equipment after a long journey.
Confirm any festival shuttle announcement for 2027 rather than assuming one exists. If arranging a taxi, agree the pickup and destination clearly, and use the festival's current entrance instructions. Drivers should follow the event's parking directions instead of expecting every road around Na Bojišti to be open for drop-offs.
Camping and hotel trade-offs
The current FAQ says standard camping is included in the ticket and distinguishes a paid VIP camping option. It also describes parking beside tents in the regular area but not in the VIP area. Read the 2027 ticket conditions before relying on those inclusions, and verify the opening and closing dates rather than converting a general weekday description into a reservation.
If choosing a hotel or apartment, search Trutnov first and compare the actual late-night journey to the entrance. A room farther into the surrounding countryside may be attractive for a holiday but can make every festival return dependent on a car. Ask about late access, parking and whether the booking dates cover the full advertised event window.
Make room for the departure day
For camping, carry what you can move comfortably between transport stops and the site. Include waterproof protection for documents and bedding, suitable shoes and hearing protection. The FAQ describes showers and drinking water, but check the current site map so you know where these are located rather than assuming facilities at every pitch.
Leave the final return flexible until the programme confirms when the music ends and when campers must depart. A later connection or a night in Prague can reduce pressure on the journey home. Keep your festival admission, accommodation and transport confirmations separate: a change to one booking does not automatically alter the others.
