Rock im Park combines a large rock festival with a city base in Nuremberg. That gives you a real choice between camping around the festival area and returning to a hotel each night. Plan around Zeppelinfeld and the Dutzendteich area, then compare the journey from your proposed accommodation. Being in the same city does not necessarily mean being within a comfortable walk of the gates.

One detail needs particular care: the transport page still describes an included-transit period dated 2026, even though the festival header is for 2027. A hotel near the central station can simplify arrival and the final trip home, while another district may offer better value if its evening connection is suitable.
